Gakuen Heaven (anime)

Sinopsis: Itou Keita is a freshman at prestigious Bell-Liberty Boys High School. He doesn't really know why he is there, since Bell-Liberty only accepts students with extraordinary abilities. All the students there highly impress Keita, but he feels a bit unsure about him being between them. But his new mates have a surprise for Keita and he soon feels like home. Just... there is someone who's specially overjoyed to have Keita with him, Endou Kazuki, what bond does tie them?

  1. I wasn't that crazy about Gakuen Heaven. The whole plot centered around an average kid named Keita who ended up being nothing but an overrated character.I think Loveless is a much better shounen-ai series than Gakuen Heaven.

  2. I agree with you, Ria. Personally, I wouldn't even compare Loveless to Gakuen Heaven. Loveless is a great series based on an uncomparable manga. While Gakuen Heaven is just a promo short anime full of fanservice with no other mean than advertising the BL game.

    So Gakuen Heaven wasn't even supposed to be a mediocre series. But I'm sure the game did sell well.

  4. This is one of the animes that one would need to play the game before enjoying the anime itself. For those who have played the game, its worth it and adds some fun to the 'gakuen' world. Ive played both 1st and 2nd series of the game so I did enjoy it. But to be honest, if I hadnt played the game, I would most likely look at this as quite mundane.
