Sinopsis: Japan, Tokugawa period. The Bakufu and Choshu clans are in continuous arguments. Kusaka Touma, member of Choshu clan, doesn't think the same as his camarades, he wants to exchange relationships with foreign countries. He even starts learning English on his own and asks for tutoring to a Bakufu member: Akizuki Keichirou. These two's friendship will grow into a stormy passion that will deeply hurt both.
